Charities often struggle to fund the urgently needed programs that are helping to change lives around the world. Often, they receive no assistance form local governments and rely solely on the kindness and generosity of donors like you to keep their programs running.
The Giving Registry’s mission is to help these charities receive the donations they need through gifts purchased by you from a charity’s gift registry and sent directly from retailers to the charities in need.
Whenever possible we try to use retailers local to the charity we serve. This allows charities to receive gifts without them having to pay additional customs fees upon arrival, reduces shipping cost and transit times, and helps to boost local economies in underdeveloped countries.
The Giving Registry works very similar to other gift registry’s you may have purchased gifts from for weddings and other special occasions. When an item is purchased the charity is notified and gift donations are sent directly to them. So you will know exactly what you are giving and in what way your gift is helping those in need.
